Hi Everyone,
I hope that you are all enjoying your summer so far. I have been busy updating the website and trying to learn how I can best serve you all as the new ALTA president. We have a number of new teachers to meet in the fall and I look forward to getting to know each of you!
Some things to keep in ming coming up in September is that I would like to give a rundown on how the website and other processes will work for us. I am hoping to make all of our lives a little easier with having a quick Pro D claim form that can be done online. I also hope to work on getting e-transfers set up for member reimbursements to hopefully get your money back in your pockets quicker.
I will be busy at the Summer Leadership Conference from August 21- Aug 25. I also have some meetings at the board office in the last week of school to get up to speed with our health and wellness claims and our labour relations meetings.
